Bootleggers Bash
BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - Step back in time to a roaring 1920s speakeasy as the Adirondack Experience in Blue Mountain Lake hosts a bash on July 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. celebrating the colorful history of Adirondack bootlegging.
Enjoy light appetizers and local libations as you dance to the sounds of the Jazz Age from the band Crackin’ Foxy. Tickets are $65 ($60 for museum members) and includes appetizers plus unlimited 2 oz. samples of local brews, spirits, and wine along with a keepsake glass.
Come dressed for the part in a flapper dress or your best fedora and you can wine a prize in the costume contest. (Dressing up, while fun, is not mandatory.)
Good to know:
There will be a food truck on site (ADK Heart) for those who want to purchase a dinner.
Vendors will also be selling full pours of beer, wine, and spirits.
The event is open to age 18 and over. Non-drinkers get a discounted ticket at $35.
