ADK Oktoberfests!
Pull on your lederhosen or don your dirndl because the next few weeks are all about Oktoberfest. No matter where you live or vacation in the Adirondacks, there’s an event near you where you can oom-pah-pah, eat a wurst, or hoist a stein. Below are some of the bigger events happening within the Blue Line. Check with your favorite local brewery as well since many including Adirondack Brewery, Paradox Brewery, Au Sable Brewing Company, and Bandstand Brew Works are hosting their own Bavarian beer fests as well. September 26 - Tupper Lake

Highlights: Family friendly. Live music, six local breweries pouring, food vendors, games, craft fair, bouncy house, and hayrides.
September 26 & 27 - Wilmington
Whiteface Oktoberfest
Time: 11:00 to 6:00 Saturday; 11:00 to 5:00 Sunday
Location: Whiteface Mountain
Family friendly
Entrance fee: $45 for adults with gondola ride and $25 without; see website for discounts
Highlights: Authentic German music and beer, entertainment, gondola rides, games, and entertainment.
September 27 - Speculator
OAKtoberfest
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Oak Mountain
Family Friendly
Entrance fee: FREE
Highlights: Live music, scenic lift rides ($10), beer and wine from local and guests brewers and wineries, food, vendors, face and pumpkin painting.
October 3 - Old Forge
Old Forge Oktoberfest
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Location: Space
Family friendly
Entrance fee: Free during the day; nighttime concerts $20
Highlights: Food, drink, Bavarian dancing, brat-eating contest, and live music.
October 3 - Malone
45th Annual Oktoberfest at Titus Mountain
Time: 10:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Titus Mountain
Family friendly
Adult entrance fee: $5; children 12 and under free
Highlights: Live music, food and drink, hayrides, games, contests, music, and fireworks.
October 9, 10, 11 - Lake George
15th Annual Lake George Oktoberfest
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday
Location: Canada Street
Family friendly
Entrance fee: FREE
Highlights: German music, dancers, local artisan vendors, carnival rides, keg tossing, beer garden, and German food.
