Adirondack Garlic Festival
Garlic lovers rejoice! The first annual Garlic Festival is happening on Sunday, September 20 in Vermontville. Hosted by the Tri-Lakes Regional Farmers, a community organization supporting farmers in the area surrounding lakes Placid, Sarnanc, and Tupper, the event will take place at Kate Mountain Park from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. and admission is free.
Celebrate the stinking rose with cooking demos, workshops, food trucks, and lots of music provided by three different bands throughout the day. There will also be a farmers’ market/craft market on site as well as a beer garden provided by Hex and Hop Brewery for those over 21.

Families are welcome, and there will be a kids’ corner and free carriage rides around the park.
