60th Annual Chicken BBQ
NEWCOMB - The Newcomb Lions Club is hosting it’s 60th Annual Chicken BBQ at the Newcomb Town Beach on the 4th of July from noon till 5:00 p.m. (or until they run out of chicken).
Each BBQ dinner ticket costs $20.00 and includes half a chicken, baked beans, salad, roll, and a beverage. Hamburgers, sausage & peppers, hot hogs, and soft drinks can also be purchased at the picnic. This family-friendly event will also feature live musical entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Good to know:
Chicken dinner tickets will be sold in advance at several local establishments.
No dogs are allowed at the beach.
All funds raised go directly to supporting the local community and the Lions' activities.
